Website Care Plans: Hosting, Backups and Edits

A website does not finish when it launches. Hosting renews. Security patches arrive. A phone number changes, a photo needs swapping, the hours change for the holidays. Without someone responsible for those jobs, a site slowly ages, then breaks at a bad moment.

What a website care plan is

A care plan makes that someone us. For a monthly fee, we host the site, keep it secure and backed up, make the edits you ask for and send a short report on how it is doing. You get a working site without becoming your own webmaster.

Website Care Plan in about a minute

Who it is for

  • Owners who do not want to manage a website. You want to run the business and have a person to ask when something on the site needs to change.
  • Businesses whose site was built by someone who left. Nobody knows the logins, the hosting is a mystery and edits are painful.
  • New clients with a site we just built. Care keeps it fast and current.
  • Businesses on monthly plans for growth. The care layer sits under the marketing and automation tools in higher tiers.

What is included

Hosting, backups and security

Fast, secure hosting for the sites we build and the ones we take over. SSL is set up so the padlock shows, backups run automatically, and software gets security updates. Your domain, hosting and email accounts are opened in your name.

Edits and photo updates

Send an email with what needs to change, such as a new price, a new photo, a team member, an updated hours line or a new service page. We make the edit and tell you when it is live.

Monthly review

A short look at how the site is doing: speed on phones, visits, what people searched to find you in Google Search Console, and what we would fix or add next. In plain language, no spreadsheet.

Health check when you join

When you start, we go through the site the way Google and your customers see it: one clear heading per page, speed on phones, whether every page can be found, and the trust signals people look for, like reviews, a secure site and consistent business details. Then we fix what is out of line.

Search Console and sitemap

Your site is verified in Google Search Console, the sitemap is submitted, and the alerts come to us, so crawling problems do not sit unnoticed.

Google Business Profile posts

On the Foundation plan, we post to your profile twice a week from the photos and news you send, so your listing does not look abandoned.

The plans

The monthly plans include the website itself, and their prices are on the pricing page. In short:

FoundationGrowthScale
Commitment12 months6 months6 months
Edits per monthUp to 2 hoursUp to 4 hoursUp to 6 hours
AddsHosting, backups, security, health check, Google Business Profile posts, monthly reviewMissed-call text-back, review requests, booking system, lead follow-upLocal SEO and AI search visibility, reputation management, email and SMS, workflow automation, monthly lead report

Every plan includes a Launch Site that you rent while the plan runs: a five-page website (Home, Services, About, Reviews and Contact) in your colors and logo, with a contact form and click-to-call, Google Business Profile set up and connected, and SEO basics.

Add-ons are available on any plan: AI Receptionist, social media, Google Ads management and extra social channels, all priced on the pricing page.

The terms, plainly

We would rather you read this now than discover it later:

  • Every plan is a 12-month commitment, then month to month.
  • If you cancel before your term ends, you can keep the site for a one-time $1,000. Otherwise it comes down.
  • Ad spend on Scale and on the Ads add-on is paid separately from the plan fee.
  • Bigger projects, such as custom builds, redesigns, full branding and custom AI tools, are scoped in their own statement of work (SOW).

What we do each month

The routine is simple, which is why it works:

  1. Check that the site is up, fast and secure, and that backups ran.
  2. Apply updates that arrived.
  3. Handle your edit requests in the order they came.
  4. Review Search Console and analytics.
  5. Send you a short note with what we did and what we suggest.

Care for a site someone else built

Many of the sites we care for were not built by us. Before we agree, we look at the platform, the code and the hosting. Some are easy to take over. Others are held together by plugins that conflict, and in that case we say honestly whether to maintain, repair or redesign. A website redesign may be cheaper over a year than patching something fragile.

What a monthly review looks like

The review is short on purpose. It answers four questions, in plain language:

  • Is the site healthy? Speed on phones, uptime, that backups ran and that the certificate is current.
  • Who found you? Visits, the searches that brought people in according to Search Console, and which pages they landed on.
  • Did they act? Form sends, phone taps and email clicks, so you see calls and messages and not only traffic.
  • What next? One to three suggestions in priority order, such as a page to add, a page to tighten or a photo that is overdue.

Because we are a marketing-led studio, the review is where the care plan connects to growth. If a service page is getting impressions but few clicks, we rewrite its title. If a question keeps showing up in searches, we add the answer to the site. That is how a care plan earns more than its hosting.

What is not included

To keep expectations clear:

  • Large projects, such as a new section, a store or a members area, get their own statement of work (SOW).
  • We are not a help desk or computer repair service. Care covers the website, its hosting and its domain-related setup.
  • Edits beyond your monthly hours are priced at the hourly rate on the pricing page, and we tell you the cost before we do them.
  • Advertising spend, stock photography and paid third-party tools are billed separately.

Why care matters for search

Google rewards sites that stay available, load quickly and keep their information current. A site with stale hours, a broken form or an expired certificate sends visitors away and gives search engines reasons to trust you less. Keeping the basics tidy is not glamorous, but it protects the work already done.

Care for Cache Valley businesses

We are in Logan, so if you would rather talk through an update in person than over email, we can do that. Local businesses change hours with the seasons, add a service in the spring and drop one in the fall. A care plan means the site gets updated when the business does, and the update is made by the same person who built it.

How to start

Tell us about your site, who built it and what worries you about it. We will look it over, explain the plan that fits and show you what a first month looks like.

Care plans are for sites bought one-time. The monthly plans (Foundation, Growth, Scale) include hosting, backups and edits with the site itself.

These are starting prices for standard builds. Every business is different, so before any work starts we write a statement of work (SOW) with your exact scope, timeline and price, which can come in lower or higher than these.

Questions people ask

Hosting, backups, security updates, edits and photo changes, and a monthly review of site health, analytics and keywords. Foundation also includes a health check and fixes when you join, plus two Google Business Profile posts a week.

For a site you bought one-time, the three care plans are priced in the Pricing section on this page. If you want the website included, the Foundation, Growth and Scale plans are on the [pricing page](/pricing): each is a 12-month commitment, and each includes everything in the plan below it.

Foundation covers up to 2 hours of edits and photo updates each month, Growth up to 4 hours and Scale up to 6 hours. Larger changes are scoped separately in a statement of work (SOW).

Cancel before your term ends and you can keep the site for a one-time $1,000. Otherwise the site comes down. After the term, plans run month to month. Read the full terms on the plans section before you sign.

A site you never touch still needs hosting, security updates and renewals to stay online. If you would rather not think about those, a plan handles them. If you are comfortable doing it yourself, we can talk about hosting alone.

We can take over many sites, usually after a health check. Some platforms limit what we can fix, and we tell you that before you commit.

You do. Your domain, hosting, email and Google accounts are in your name, with access shared to us, and we keep a plain list of what lives where.
