Ecommerce Website Design and Shopify Setup in Utah

An online store lives or dies in the details. The product photo is fine, but the size chart is missing. Shipping charges $4 on a 40-pound box. Checkout asks for a phone number and gives no reason. We take care of those parts so the first real order goes through cleanly.

What this service covers

We design and build stores for makers, product brands and small shops: Shopify storefronts, Etsy and Faire shops that sit beside them, and moves from other platforms. We work from Logan, Utah and serve sellers across Cache Valley and the rest of the country.

E-commerce & Shopify in about a minute

Who it is for

  • Makers and small-batch brands ready to sell beyond craft fairs and social media.
  • Product brands that want their own storefront and customer list as well as marketplace sales.
  • Etsy sellers who have outgrown the marketplace's look and fees, or want a branded home next to it.
  • Wholesale brands that need a Faire shop and a line sheet to approach retailers.
  • Stores on Square, Wix or Squarespace that hit limits on variants, shipping or search.
  • Local shops that want to sell online but ship from the back room.

What a KORB store includes

Store structure

Collections, product pages, variants and SKUs set up to match your stock sheet, so what a customer picks is what you pick, pack and count. Products get weights and package sizes, because shipping rates depend on them.

Design that looks like your brand

A storefront in your colors and type, not the default theme. Product pages answer what people ask before they buy, such as sizes, materials, care, shipping time and returns, right where they look.

Checkout and payments

Payments, taxes, shipping rates and a branded checkout, tested with real orders before opening. We check the confirmation emails too, because customers read those closely.

Shipping and fulfillment

Shipping rules and package sizes, packing slips, stock sheets, and the hand-off to a warehouse or fulfillment partner if you use one. If someone else packs your orders, they need the right SKU on the slip.

Etsy and Faire

Etsy for shoppers and Faire for retailers, set up next to your own store: listings, wholesale prices, order minimums and the brand profile a store buyer reads before ordering.

Search and trackability

Clean product titles, descriptions and addresses, one H1 per page, product markup for Google, and analytics that count orders and where they came from.

Store care

New products, seasonal changes, app and theme updates, and a monthly look at what is selling and what is not. See the website care plan.

How we do it

1. Free call and catalog review

We look at your products, where you sell now and how orders are packed. You tell us what hurts, whether that is fees, slow listings or shipping mistakes.

2. Plan and price

You get a written plan: platforms, store structure, what we build, what you supply and the price and date. If your first launch is small, we say what to leave for round two.

3. Build the store

Products, variants, shipping, taxes, payments and design. We use a private preview for you to review on your phone.

4. Test orders

We place test orders end to end: add to cart, pay, receive the email, see the order in the admin and print the packing slip. We also test awkward carts, such as large items or mixed sizes, because that is where shipping rules fail.

5. Launch and follow-up

We open the store, connect your domain, submit the sitemap and watch the first orders. Then store care takes over if you want it.

Shopify, Etsy or Faire: when each fits

Shopify is your own store. You control the brand, the customer list and the checkout. It costs a monthly plan fee plus card processing, and it needs you to bring the visitors.

Etsy is a marketplace with built-in shoppers. It is quick to start and good for discovery, but you share the stage with every other seller, and the listing fees and commission come off each sale.

Faire is wholesale. Independent shops browse it for products to stock. It helps you reach retailers without cold-calling, and it comes with its own rules about pricing, returns and shipping.

Many of our clients end up on two or three. The trick is keeping one product list as the source, so prices and stock do not drift apart. Faire, for example, will hide a shop from search if its wholesale price on another channel is lower, so we plan price parity from the beginning.

Proof: what we learned building real stores

We build storefronts for real brands. One example is Sage & Stone Pets, a pet products brand. We built its storefront on a custom website with Shopify behind it for stock, orders and checkout, and connected it to Faire for wholesale. The shop is still being prepared for launch, so we do not quote sales numbers.

Setting it up taught us things worth knowing before you build:

  • Shopify needs package sizes even if a warehouse ships. A new store has a tiny sample box as its default, so large items get priced as small ones until you correct it.
  • Carts over 70 pounds get no USPS rate. Heavy products need a second carrier or a fallback rate, or customers cannot check out.
  • Bulk product imports can group wrongly. Reading the preview before importing saves you from ten one-size products.
  • Wholesale and retail prices have to match across channels or the wholesale listing can lose visibility.

None of that shows up in a screenshot, and all of it matters on launch day.

Shopify store setup, step by step

If Shopify is the right home for your store, this is the order we work in:

  1. Free call. We talk about your products and where you sell now.
  2. Product intake. You send products and photos in any shape. We turn them into one clean sheet.
  3. Plan and price. Written scope, price and launch date.
  4. Build. Store structure, design, shipping, tax and payments on a private preview.
  5. Test orders. A normal cart, a heavy cart, a mixed cart and one refund, so we see what customers and your packer would see.
  6. Launch. We switch the domain, open the store and watch the first orders.
  7. Care. Optional monthly store care keeps products, apps and themes current.

Small details we handle before launch: test orders are cancelled and archived so they do not sit in your admin, product photos are resized so pages load fast and stay sharp, and every product image gets a description for search and accessibility. Moving from Etsy, Square, Wix or Squarespace? We carry products and customers across and redirect your old links.

What it costs

Standard store prices are in the Pricing section of this page, and the statement of work (SOW) we write before work starts sets your exact scope, timeline and price. What moves the price: the number of products and variants, whether the design is custom, how many channels we connect, and whether we migrate an existing store. Shopify charges you directly for its plan and processing, and any apps you choose carry their own fees. We tell you about those costs up front so there are no surprises later.

Bigger projects, such as a custom storefront, are scoped in the SOW before work starts.

Built to rank and convert

Because our top offer is SEO and the marketing side of web development, stores are planned for search from the first collection. Each product page targets what a buyer would type, collections get their own descriptive text, images are sized for fast phone loading, and product markup lets Google show price and availability. Checkout stays short. We look at the number of steps between "add to cart" and "paid", remove what is not needed, and say clearly what shipping costs before the last step, since surprise costs are a common reason people abandon a cart.

Selling from Logan

A small seller in Cache Valley might pack orders at the kitchen table, or hand them to a warehouse. Either works. If you offer local pickup or delivery, we set the store up so those options show clearly at checkout, and we make sure your Google Business Profile links to the shop, so people who find you on Maps can buy online. Because we are in Logan, we can sit down with you and look at your products and packing setup in person.

Next step

Tell us what you make, where you sell now and what feels clumsy. We will send back a short plan for the store and what we would do first.

Questions people ask

They do different jobs. Etsy brings shoppers who are already browsing, Faire brings shops that buy wholesale, and Shopify gives you your own storefront, brand and customer list. Many makers use all three, with one product list feeding them. We help you choose what to start with.

Standard store packages are priced in the Pricing section of this page. The work depends on how many products and variants you have, how shipping works and whether you need a custom design, so the statement of work (SOW) we write before work starts sets the final price. Shopify itself charges a monthly plan fee plus payment processing, which you pay directly to Shopify.

Yes. The Shopify account, domain and payment accounts are opened in your name. We work through a collaborator account, which lets us help without owning anything.

Yes. We carry over products, photos and customer lists where the platform allows it, and redirect old links so search traffic follows you.

We set up the rules, rates, packing slips and stock sheets, and connect a warehouse or fulfillment partner if you use one. We do not pack or ship boxes ourselves.

The build is usually quicker than gathering product details, photos and weights. Once those are ready, we place test orders before opening, and we give you a launch date in writing at the planning step.

No. We build the store so it works and is easy to buy from. Sales depend on your product, price and traffic, and we do not promise results we cannot control.
